Bio-economy Research and Innovation Event

The Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI-JU) is a € 3.7 billion public-private partnership between the EU and industry. The goal is to develop new bio-refinery technologies for the sustainable conversion of renewable resources into bio-based products, materials and fuels. It is expected that this sector will grow rapidly and create new markets and jobs.

The two new BBI projects SUSBIND and SUSFERT bring together important Lower Austrian industrial and research partners and are coordinated by RTDS Group. The aim of the projects is, on the one hand, to develop binding agents for wood-based materials from renewable raw materials and, on the other hand, to create fertilizers based on beneficial microorganisms and various residual flows.

Learn more about the innovation segment bioeconomy, meet executives from politics, research & industry and take part in this exciting event on May 23rd  at the UFT in Tulln.
